CM: Beyond Borders

Dear Spark,
Here are the things i have learned today:
There are a lot of things that we want to do in our lives. Have a business, buy our own house, by a brand new car (maybe a sports car), travel around the world, have a hunky husband or a sexy wife, etc.

Beyond these wants and dreams are some limitations. Questions like:

  • I can't
  • I am only a high school graduate
  • I only have a small time Job
  • I am afraid to take the risk
While most of these reflect typical human excuses, some are actually because of natural limitations such as:
  • Contentment
  • Stable
  • Limitations due to present accountabilities
And so, God wrote:

Acts 1:6-8

New International Version (NIV)

6 Then they gathered around him and asked him, “Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?”
7 He said to them: “It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority. 8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” http://www.biblegateway.com/

Much of us believe in the word "impossible". So much that we keep on saying it even though we haven't tried anything yet. Some of us even assume things that are going to happen, even if there's no proof - that is the definition of gossip.

The name of the person above is Harold Camping. An American Christian broadcaster. He predicted that May 21, 2011  Jesus Christ would return to Earth, the righteous would fly up to heaven, and that there would follow five months of fire, brimstone and plagues on Earth, with millions of people dying each day, culminating on October 21, 2011 with the end of the world. Without any solid basis, obviously none of them happened.

Matthew 24:14

New International Version (NIV)
14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

If you want to know when the end will come? As long as we are done preaching the gospel to everyone. It is written.

2 Corinthians 10:15-16

New International Version (NIV)
15 Neither do we go beyond our limits by boasting of work done by others. Our hope is that, as your faith continues to grow, our sphere of activity among you will greatly expand, 16 so that we can preach the gospel in the regions beyond you. For we do not want to boast about work already done in someone else’s territory.

Yes, without a doubt, we have to spread the word Beyond Borders. We have to make sure that everyone gets to understand the gospel. Because of the continues efforts of our missionaries, there are:

  • 238 Churches around the world
  • 166,000 people hear the gospel daily
  • 20.7 Million Accept Christ as Lord and Savior Daily
And the numbers speak for themselves. See how possible things can happen? The next time you say "I cant", then it is high time for you to go Beyond Your Border for you to become aligned to God's plan in your life and receive abundant blessings.

Have a Blessed Sunday!
